Description
Three young mosaic artists from North Macedonia – Mila DOBREVSKA, Anica KITANOSKA and Aleksandra MITEVA – present their work, which explores not only their shared roots but also what ‘home’ means to them, both as a place to live and as a sense of belonging. This year’s international exhibition allows the mosaics to resonate with their other works – drawings, paintings and, in Mila’s case, even textiles. All three reveal their shared commitment to themes such as cultural roots, memory, identity and tradition, whilst using mosaic as a contemporary form of expression.
