Description

Created in the dovecote of the town hall park, this cultural and historical space retraces the history of Mme d'Artagnan, the town and the castle. The latter was owned by the Boyer de Champlecy family, including Anne-Charlotte de Champlecy, wife of Charles-Batz Castlemore, Count d'Artagnan, who inspired Alexandre Dumas, his famous hero of "The Three Musketeers" from 1659 to 1671. The village is a stage of the European Route d'Artagnan, the first European equestrian route.
