Description

The mill is a building dating back to the 11th century, abandoned at the end of 1969 by its last active miller, but which has been gradually restored over the last 20 years, starting in 2001. In 2011, an impressive wheel, 6m in diameter and weighing almost 7t, was installed, along with the gears and millstones. In 2013, an electric generator was installed with a view to generating electricity. The mill site offers a lovely view of the reach of the River Arconce, as well as a picnic area.
A bread-making workshop is on offer, ideal for schoolchildren: everyone goes home with a loaf of bread.
